Due to the developments in regards to the Corona virus/COVID-19, and the new recommendations from the RIVM, Combinex has taken precautions. This means that personnel will stay at home and if possible will work at home. Quality Label TLN

We received the good news that after a successful audit, our Quality Mark Transport & Logistics has been extended until 1-12-2022. The audit is carried out by an independent party on behalf of TLN (Transport and Logistics Netherlands). This party has assessed Combinex in various areas.


Quality label Transport & Logistics

The well-known management model of the Dutch Quality Institute (INK) lays at the foundation of the Transport & Logistics Quality Mark. This model is a step-by-step plan aimed at the continuous improvement of business operations. The environment of companies is constantly changing, which means that entrepreneurs must always respond to changing requirements. With the certificate of the Transport & Logistics Quality Mark, companies can prove that they meet the requirements of the regulations. The topics Environment, Safety and responsible Entrepreneurship (CSR) are explicitly reflected in the regulations. For example, the quality label sets requirements for safety culture and fuel / CO2 registration.


The Transport & Logistics Quality Label is the quality label for road freight transport. We are very proud that we as Combinex can (continue to) carry this quality label.

The ISO 22000 certificate for Combinex has been extended.

After a successful audit, in which all processes within our company have been assessed, we have received the certificate again.

ISO 22000

The ISO 22000 certificate applies as the international quality standard for companies in the food industry and also the transport there of.

The certificate is used worldwide. The quality mark guarantees that foods, both cooled and not cooled, are transported in a correct and safe manner.

This ensures continuous food safety assurance based on HACCP.

With this certificate we can demonstrate to our clients that we work in a safe, responsible manner and we can guarantee the quality of the food to be transported.


Combinex is continually improving their processes through external and internal audits. In this way the ISO-22000 system and our management system can be kept up to date.

Combiex has expanded their own tautliner-trailerpark.

Today our 10th Krone trailer in the serie of 10 has been delivered to Combinex at the Krone factory in Werlte in Germany.

Guarantee for our clients.

Combinex had placed an order in 2018 for 10 Krone Trailers, that would be delivered from January 2019 onwards, with an option to place another order of 15 trailers to Combinex in the course of 2019. The goal is to ensure an even larger and better guaranteed capacity for our clients, and this has led to the decision for Combinex to expand our own trailer park. With this decision, Combinex expects to ensure a higher service level to our clients.

All trailers satisfy the newest regulation in regards to load securement, and are all accommodated with the newest telematics technology systems.

 

Combinex financially healthy

Combinex is an international logistics service provider, that has grown to one of the most successful logistics service provider in only 12.5 years, where CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and social entrepreneurship are highly appreciated with a financially sound foundation.

With more than 90 skilled employees, Combinex is active in both the ambient- and conditioned market of goods. These employees arrange more than 450 transports every day. In addition to our forwarding department, our Combinex Planning has contracts with approximately 150 regular charters, which Combinex expects to expand to 200 charters under direct supervision.

 

Future

In regards to the plans for the future, there is a permanent desire within the organization for expansion of our regular charters and/or collaboration with hauliers, who want to work with Combinex with a long-term contract. Within the group both forwarding- and transport activities are carried out, with an enormous network of hauliers and charters. Since our start in June 2006, Combinex has seen a large growth.

New location

At the end of December, Combinex opened the doors of a new location. The new premises are located in Oud-Beijerland and are an expansion of the location in Zuid-Beijerland. The location in Zuid-Beijerland was getting too small for the number of employees, as a result of the growth Combinex has been experiencing. The new location has a surface of 867 m2 and consists of two storeys. The business units France, Benelux, Germany North, Germany South, Germany Export, Germany Ruhr, Europe, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom have been established here. The Fresh & Frozen department and the administration and acquisition departments are located at the Zuid-Beijerland site. The two locations together ensure a total office space of 1200 m2, where about 70 people work daily.

In addition to the move, there is also a change in the internal organisational structure. From 1 January on, the organisation of Combinex has been divided into various business units. This split enables greater focus, which allows us to deliver better quality. With the switch to business units, the organisation is divided into the following departments:  Benelux, DE-South import, DE- North Import, DE-Ruhr, DE-Export, UK/Scandinavia, France and the rest of Europe.

A business unit consists of a manager, sellers, planners, customer service employees and one employee for packaging. With this organisational development, we want to optimise service to customers and/or transporters in order to increase quality. Combinex proclaimed as Best Managed Company 2015

Combinex belongs to one of the best managed companies among Dutch mid-sized and large companies this year. ING and Deloitte announced this last Tuesday, 1 December. The qualification is part of the Best Managed Companies program, which is organised by ING and Deloitte, along with the Erasmus Centre for Entrepreneurship / Rotterdam School of Management.

Deloitte organised the Best Managed Companies program for the eighth consecutive year and for the second time in collaboration with ING. Combinex participated for the first time this year and was selected by the jury as one of the best managed companies in the Netherlands. Deloitte and ING assessed Combinex’ strategy, management, degree of innovation and financial results for this.

Combinex’ manager, Arie Troost, said that the program is very valuable for the development of the company. “De feedback we received from Deloitte and ING about our operations provides us with guiding principles for the future.”  Arie Troost is proud that Combinex gets to carry the title of Best Managed Company 2015: ‘’We are immensely happy with this beautiful award and we will continue to grow our ambition without compromising quality or service.”
